The upcoming National Cyber Security Reference Framework (NCRF) will replace the outmoded strategy with a common but differentiated approach (CBDR).

What exactly is the NCRF?

The NCRF intends to provide a complete reference for essential sectors such as banking, telecommunications, electricity and energy, transportation, strategic and government firms, and healthcare organisations. It will give significant guidance on internet governance, network management, and cyberattack response tactics. In addition, the publication will define recommended practices for recovering and resuming operations when systems have been hacked.
